The deal, which was registered on March 6, values the property at ₹65,940 per sq ft, totaling over ₹28.78 crore for the 4,365 sq ft property.
This trend of investing in commercial real estate for constant rental yields and long-term capital growth is catching on with high-net-worth individuals and celebrities.

Stamp duty and parking spaces included in the deal
The documents accessed via IndexTap.com show that the deal also involves stamp duty fees of approximately ₹1.72 crore.
Additionally, the agreement gives Kajol exclusive access to four designated car parking spaces.
This purchase adds to her commercial property portfolio, which includes an office space purchased in August 2023 for ₹7.64 crore in Oshiwara.

Ajay's real estate purchase and actors' next projects
Earlier, in April 2023, Kajol's husband and actor Ajay Devgn had purchased five office properties in the same building in Oshiwara for ₹45 crore.
These properties spread across two floors and totaled 13,293 sq ft.
On the work front, Devgn is currently busy with the sequels of De De Pyaar De and Son of Sardaar, while Kajol will next be seen in the thriller Maa.
