What's the story
The long-awaited teaser of the action-packed film Ground Zero, starring Emraan Hashmi, is finally out.
Based on true events, the film traces a covert mission headed by BSF Deputy Commandant Narendra Nath Dubey, played by Hashmi.
The teaser starts with a terrorist attack on Jammu and Kashmir and covers a two-year mission into a national security crisis—BSF's biggest operation in the last 50 years.
Ground Zero also stars Sai Tamhankar and Mukesh Tiwari and releases on April 25.

'Ground Zero' teaser reveals real-life hero's mission
The clip focuses on Hashmi's character, who led the 2003 mission to eliminate terrorist mastermind Ghazi Baba and was honored with the Kirti Chakra in 2005 by President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.
The teaser also shows the terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed warning the Indian PM of the "freedom of Kashmir."
Hashmi's character asks a thought-provoking question: "Sirf Kashmir ki zameen humaari hai ya yahan ke log bhi?" (Is only the land of Kashmir ours, or are the people ours too?).

Excel Entertainment's Ground Zero teases high-stakes action, strategic warfare, and focuses on the lingering shadows of the 2001 Kashmir conflict.
Directed by Tejas Deoskar, the film is co-produced by Kassim Jagmagia, Vishal Ramchandani, Sundeep C Sidhwani, Arhan Bagati, Talisman Films, Abhishek Kumar, and Nishikant Roy.
Hashmi was last seen in Salman Khan's Tiger 3 as the antagonist, Aatish Rehman.
