Photographer Viral Bhayani shared the news on Instagram on Monday. The post read, "It's truly heartbreaking to hear about Jacqueline Fernandez's mother being in the ICU. Family always comes first, and, understandably, Jacqueline had to rush back."

Notably, the Housefull 2 actor's mother has been plagued by health issues in the past. In 2022, she suffered a stroke and was hospitalized. It remains unclear what her current health condition is.
For those unaware, the actor's mother resides in Manama, Bahrain, and has a diverse heritage, being of Malaysian and Canadian descent.
Fernandez's maternal grandfather was from Canada, while her great-grandparents hailed from Goa, India.
