'The Signature': Anupam Kher's 525th film locks release date
Veteran actor Anupam Kher is all set to feature in his 525th film, The Signature. The movie is reportedly an adaptation of the Marathi film Anumati, which starred Vikram Gokhale. The Signature is directed by Gajendra Ahire, who also helmed the original Marathi version. Kher recently unveiled the first poster of the film on Instagram, along with a heartfelt message about relationships and aging.
'The Signature' to premiere on ZEE5 in October
The Signature is scheduled to premiere on ZEE5 on October 4. In his Instagram post, Kher shared a video with the caption, "Ek signature se shuru hota hai rishton ka safar. Ek anokhi kahani, jald hi! #TheSignature premieres October 4 on #ZEE5." Apart from The Signature, Kher will also soon be seen in Emergency, which is currently awaiting a release date.
'The Signature' features an ensemble cast
The Signature also stars Mahima Chaudhary, Annu Kapoor, Ranvir Shorey, Neena Kulkarni, and Manoj Joshi. The film's story is set in the Hindi heartland, with Kher stepping into the shoes of the character originally played by Gokhale in Anumati. The Signature was selected for screening at the Namaste Vietnam Festival 2023. Speaking about the honor with The Print, Kher said, "With The Signature opening the festival and also being honored there, this achievement has become twice as special for me."
