Hyderabad: Indian cricketer Ambati Rayudu involved in road rage incident
Indian batsman Ambati Rayudu became the latest to join the list of cricketers involved in road rage cases when he got himself into a fight with a senior citizen in Hyderabad. The cricketer allegedly lost his cool after a senior citizen reprimanded him for his rash driving. After a heated argument, Rayudu reportedly fought with the senior citizen, exchanging blows. Video showing Rayudu's poor behavior goes viral
A video recorded by one of the bystanders shows Rayudu getting out of his SUV and fighting with a few morning walking senior citizens, who alleged the 31-year-old cricketer was rash driving. From the video, it looks like Rayudu got agitated after one of the walkers hurled an abuse aimed at him. However, after some bystanders intervened, Rayudu is seen retreating from the place.

Ambati Rayudu is a right-handed middle-order batsman, right-arm off break bowler, and an occasional wicket-keeper. He made his international debut in 2013; he has played 34 ODIs and six T20 Internationals for India so far. He represents Vidarbha in domestic cricket and Mumbai Indians in the IPL (Indian Premier League). He was last seen playing for India in a June 2016 ODI with Zimbabwe.

Rayudu's case isn't the first involving an Indian cricketer. Navjot Singh Sidhu was convicted in a 1988 road rage case involving the death of a person while former pacer Venkatesh Prasad too got into a legal tussle with an ex-MLA in Bengaluru.
