    Vivo S1 (6GB/64GB variant) to go on sale from September-9

    What's the story

    The much-awaited 6GB/64GB variant of the premium mid-ranger Vivo S1 is set to go on sale in India from September 9.

    The handset will be up for grabs via both online and offline sales channels such as Amazon, Flipkart, Croma, and Reliance Digital.

    To recall, the smartphone was launched in the country on August 7.

    Design

    At a glance

    Up front, the Vivo S1 sports a waterdrop notched design with slim bezels on the top and bottom.

    On the rear, the gradient finished panel houses vertically stacked triple cameras and LED flash.

    Further, the phone sports a 6.38-inch Super AMOLED display with full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and an under-display fingerprint sensor.

    On the back, the Vivo S1 sports a triple camera setup comprising a 16MP (f/1.8) main sensor, 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2MP (f/2.4) sensor to capture depth details.

    Up front, the phone sports a 32MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture.

    Moreover, both the front and rear cameras of the handset can record 1080p videos at 30fps.

    Under the hood

    Powering the Vivo S1 is a MediaTek Helio P65 processor, coupled with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage.

    Under the hood, the phone runs Android Pie-based FunTouch OS 9 and packs a 4,500mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support.

    Lastly, the handset gets all standard sensors and latest connectivity options including dual-SIMs (Nano), dual-band Wi-Fi, VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, micro-USB port, and a headphone jack.

    Pricing and Availability

    The entry-level 4GB/64GB variant of Vivo S1 is priced at Rs. 17,990 and is already available in the country, while the 6GB/64GB variant which costs Rs. 18,990 is set to go on sale from September 9.

    Further, there is also a top-spec 6GB/128GB variant which is priced at Rs. 19,990 and it will be up for grabs starting September 15.
