    What's the story

Chinese tech giant Vivo is working to launch the all-new Vivo S1 smartphone in India soon.

According to a recent report, the Indian Vivo S1 will be completely different from its Chinese counterpart.

The handset is tipped to feature a waterdrop notched design, Super AMOLED display, triple rear cameras, and mid-level internals.

    Here is our roundup.

    Design

    At a glance

The upcoming Vivo S1, according to leaks, will sport a waterdrop notched display with a thin bottom bezel. On the backside, it will have a gradient finished panel with triple rear cameras and LED flash.

Further, the phone will feature a 6.38-inch Super AMOLED screen with full-HD+ resolution and an on-screen fingerprint sensor.

    Information

What's the camera like on Vivo S1?

According to the tip-off, the smartphone will sport a triple rear camera setup with a 16MP main sensor, 8MP wide-angle sensor, and a 2MP tertiary sensor. Further, it will house a 32MP front-facing shooter for selfies.

    Internals

    Under the hood

The Vivo S1 will reportedly be powered by a MediaTek Helio P65 octa-core chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

Under the hood, the handset will be backed by a 4,500mAh battery with support for Vivo's dual-engine fast charging technology.

Moreover, it will run on Android Pie-based Funtouch OS 9 out-of-the-box.

    Information

    And, what about pricing?

According to a report by IndiaShopps, the Vivo S1 is expected to arrive at a price of under Rs. 20,000 in India. However, the official details will be announced during the launch event itself, which is slated to happen next month.
