JioPhone may get delivered in these places, first

If you have pre-booked a JioPhone, this news is going to go either way for you.
As per reports, since Reliance Jio's feature phones which are being imported from Taiwan will be landing in certain cities, the residents of those cities will get the delivery earlier than others.

The pre-booking for the JioPhone was suspended, as the firm could not keep pace with the high demand.
However delivering the phones, for which orders have been taken, is still going to be a difficult task due to its sheer volume.
As per reports, Reliance has roped in several logistics firms, along with its own workforce, to run the delivery operations smoothly.

Why these locations?
However, instead of scheduling delivery in all locations at the same time, it makes sense to disperse the orders, that it has, at those particular locations and then move to the other regions.
So, the firm will stock the Jio Centres and Reliance Digital stores in those cities first, and then send the rest of the units to the logistics firms for other deliveries.

So the places, where JioPhones will land up first and where the delivery might take place early are - Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Ahmedabad.
Just to remind you, JioPhone comes with a 512MB RAM coupled with 4GB internal storage, a 2.4-inch screen and a 2,000 mAh battery. It also sports a 2MP rear camera and a front VGA camera.
