Varun Dhawan, Anushka Sharma's recent release 'Sui Dhaaga: Made In India' has managed to appeal to the masses on its second day.

'Sui Dhaaga' got a 48% jump in collections and has collected a total of Rs. 20.55 crore till now.

Positive word-of-mouth does wonders for 'Sui Dhaaga'

According to Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh, 'Sui Dhaaga' witnessed a zoom in collections in the metro cities on the second day.

Positive word of mouth helped to bring the audience to the theaters, thus adding on to the numbers.

Taran tweeted, "#SuiDhaaga zooms upwards on Day 2... Catches speed at metros and mass belt".

Taran further mentioned that given the recent trends, 'Sui Dhaaga' is likely to cross Rs. 35 crore in its opening weekend.

Besides the coming days would record good numbers for the movie, due to Gandhi Jayanti holiday on Tuesday.

"The evening shows on Day 4 [Mon] should witness momentum, while Day 5 [Gandhi Jayanti] - should record big numbers again," he added.

    Varun's career

Varun continues his winning streak with 'Sui Dhaaga'

The good numbers for 'Sui Dhaaga' are indeed a reason to smile for Varun, who has managed to continue his winning streak at the box office.

The actor, who has been in the industry for six years now, hasn't seen a flop in his career.

Though his last release 'October' witnessed a dull response, it still managed to sail well at the box office.
