    'The Diplomat,' 'Interstellar': Movies hitting theaters this Friday

    What's the story

    This Friday, cinema lovers can look forward to a diverse range of films hitting the big screen.

    The lineup includes thrilling dramas, fantasy adventures, and animated comedies.

    Among the new releases is The Diplomat, a thriller drama featuring John Abraham as an Indian diplomat.

    Here's what you can watch in theaters this week.

    'The Diplomat'

    The Diplomat, directed by Shivam Nair, also stars Sharib Hashmi, Sadia Khateeb, Revathy, and Kumud Mishra.

    Inspired by true events, it follows Abraham's character on a mission to rescue a young woman trapped in a forced marriage in Pakistan.

    The cinematography is by Dimo Popov, while the editing is by Kunal Walve.

    'Inn Galiyon Mein'

    Apart from The Diplomat, another Hindi film is ready to hit theaters on March 14.

    Inn Galiyon Mein, starring Jaaved Jaaferi, Vivaan Shah, and Avantika Dassani, will also be released on Friday.

    The film was earlier slated for a February 28 release but was eventually pushed to Holi.

    It's directed by Avinash Das.

    'In the Lost Lands' and 'The Day the Earth...'

    Fans of dark fantasy can watch In the Lost Lands, directed by Paul W S Anderson and starring Milla Jovovich as a powerful sorceress on a quest for a powerful artifact.

    Set in a dystopian world, the film packs stunning visuals with thrilling action.

    For animated fun, The Day the Earth Blew Up is a must-watch.

    The first-ever full-length animated feature starring Porky Pig and Daffy Duck, it sees the duo uncovering a mind-control scheme at a bubblegum factory.

    'Dune: Part Two' and 'Interstellar' return to theaters

    Apart from new releases, two iconic films are also making a comeback to theaters.

    Dune: Part Two, helmed by Denis Villeneuve, continues the epic saga of Paul Atreides on the desert planet Arrakis. The film won two Academy Awards for Best Visual Effects and Best Sound.

    Christopher Nolan's Interstellar is also returning.

    This visually stunning and emotionally powerful movie takes viewers on a mind-bending space journey.

    Re-watch Aamir Khan classics in theaters

    Cinema Ka Jaadugar-The Aamir Khan Film Festival will begin on Friday.

    It is being held to celebrate Khan's 60th birthday and will feature movies like Fanaa, PK, 3 Idiots, Rang De Basanti, Laal Singh Chaddha, and Dangal, among several others.

    The festival will conclude on March 27.
