Shamita Shetty abused by three men in road rage incident
Actress Shamita Shetty came across an ugly event as she was allegedly abused by three bike-borne men on Tuesday. The incident took place in Mumbai's Thane area. According to reports, the accused not only verbally abused Shamita but also manhandled her driver. Subsequently, Shamita filed a case against the three accused in Rabodi police station. What happened: A motorist rammed into Shamita's car
Reportedly, the incident took place as a motorist rammed into Shamita's car near Viviana Mall in Thane. While no one was injured in the accident, the motorist along with his two friends misbehaved with Shamita and her driver. They went on to verbally abuse Shamita after the accident. In fact, they also reportedly slapped and threatened her driver Darshan Sawant with dire consequences.
Shamita was heading to Thane from Andheri
As per the police complaint, Shamita was heading to Thane in her BMW car when the motorcyclist rammed into it. Notably, no one was injured in the accident. However, when Shamita's driver stopped and got out of the car to check the damage, the motorcyclist along with his two friends picked up a fight with him. The three accused were in their mid-30s.
FIR lodged against three unidentified men
According to reports, an FIR has been filed against the three yet-to-be identified men. A case has been registered under Sections 279, 323, 504, 506, 427 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. Shamita's driver has also provided the vehicle details of the accused.
