    What's the story

Being a celebrity is no cake walk. While one enjoys massive stardom and money, it also comes with a crazy fan following.

At times, a fan's obsession crosses the limit.

Like what this 20-year-old from Haryana did, by trying to break into his favorite actor Akshay Kumar's Mumbai residence.

The man was eventually arrested for trespassing into the actor's house.

    Incident

Fan Googled Akshay's address, traveled to Mumbai to meet him

According to media reports, this 'die-hard' fan named Ankit Goswami searched Akshay's address on Google, and traveled to Mumbai to meet him on Monday night.

After he was denied entry, Goswami jumped over the boundary wall to get inside.

He could get into Akshay's building compound and was keen to get a glimpse of the actor.

However, he was caught by security guards.

    Arrest

Police booked Goswami for trespassing, questioned him

Eventually, the police were informed, and Goswami was arrested in the wee hours.

He was booked for trespassing into the actor's house.

According to an official, "He (Goswami) climbed the wall at 1:30am and entered. He was spotted by the guards, who got a hold of him and alerted the police."

Goswami was then taken to Juhu Police station, where he was questioned.

    Details

No malicious intent in trespassing into Akshay's house: Goswami

During interrogation, Goswami called himself Akshay's biggest fan, said cops, adding that he told them that he had no malicious intent behind trespassing into the Gold actor's property.

Goswami apparently also claimed that he dreams to make it big in Bollywood. He has been booked under IPC and is now in judicial custody.

"He will now be tried in court," said DCP Manoj Kumar.
