Playing Dr. Manmohan Singh most difficult for me: Kher
What's the story
Anupam Kher, who plays the role of former PM Dr. Manmohan Singh in "The Accidental Prime Minister", says it is the most difficult film of his career.
The film is based on the book of the same name, written by Sanjaya Baru.
The film is being made in both English and Hindi by debutant Vijay Ratnakar Gutte and it produced by Bohra Brothers.

"I am approaching this part of Dr. Manmohan Singh completely from an actor's point of view," said Kher.
He added that it is more difficult as the world knows him, his language, his movement, and everything.
The actor says the fact that he has to make audiences believe that the person they are seeing on-screen is Dr. Singh, makes the film even tougher.

Learning from content online to bring more honesty into character
Kher believes that a lot of mimics can do a better job than him and emphasized on the need of the audience to believe his character.
"It is too early to talk about it in detail. The first look has made me both happy and nervous," he said.

Not joining politics
Sufficient if my individual comment makes 5% difference: Kher
Kher finds it sad that people advise him to join politics when he gives an opinion on social causes or on the country.
"My comment as an individual is sufficient to make a difference to even five percent of people," he said.
The actor also added that he has no plan to join politics in the coming years.
