    What's the story

The upcoming film Badass Ravi Kumar, starring Himesh Reshammiya, is all set to hit theaters on Friday (February 7).

The film has been given a UA 16+ certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The certification was granted on January 29 after the film underwent several modifications.

These included the blurring of an alcohol brand name and visuals of a middle finger gesture.

    Modifications

Sensual scenes replaced in 'Badass Ravi Kumar'

Per a report by Bollywood Hungama, CBFC's Examining Committee also sought changes in some sensual scenes in Badass Ravi Kumar.

Close-up visuals of a bikini-clad woman were replaced, along with cleavage shots and breast close-ups. The makers were also asked to modify scenes showing a man's hand moving on a woman's thigh and buttock.

A violent scene involving a wood cutter machine was also altered.

    Language changes

Offensive language removed from 'Badass Ravi Kumar'

Further, the word "b*tch" was muted in the audio and removed from the subtitles.

After making these changes, Badass Ravi Kumar was cleared for release with a UA 16+ certificate.

The film's length is mentioned as 141.44 minutes on the censor certificate, which translates to a runtime of two hours, 21 minutes, and 44 seconds.

Produced by Himesh Reshammiya Melodies and directed by Keith Gomes, the movie also stars Kirti Kulhari, Sunny Leone, Prabhu Deva, and Sanjay Mishra.
