    What's the story

Jeet Adani and Diva Jaimin Shah, who are scheduled to get married on Friday, have taken a unique route for their wedding preparations.

The couple has partnered with several NGOs and local artisans to design unique items for their wedding.

One such partnership is with the Delhi-based NGO Family of Disabled, which has been commissioned to make hand-painted shawls for the couple.

While Adani is billionaire Gautam Adani's younger son, Shah is the daughter of diamond merchant Jaimin Shah.

    Fashion collaboration

Manish Malhotra and artisans collaborate for Adani-Shah wedding

Reportedly, renowned fashion designer Manish Malhotra is working with these artisans to give an extra touch of elegance to the hand-painted shawls.

This partnership highlights the couple's commitment to giving back to society during their wedding celebrations.

The couple has also roped in various artisans, including Kai Rassi from Chennai and Bibaji Churi Wala from Jodhpur, to make special items for their wedding.

    Artisan involvement

Local artisans contribute to Adani-Shah wedding preparations

While the Chennai-based NGO Kai Rassi is designing placards and digitally printed plates for the event, Bibaji Churi Wala will make three different types of bangles for Shah.

Times of India reported, Nikita from Ahmedabad is making beaded kamarbhands while 400 artisans from Nashik have been appointed to weave handwoven Paithani sarees for the wedding guests.

Other quirky touches include intricate bookmarks made using nail art technique, glass art props made by a father-son duo, and mud art pieces.

    Inclusivity initiative

Gautam Adani had promised son Jeet's wedding would be 'simple'

In a move that highlights their commitment to inclusivity, Adani and Shah recently visited Mitti Cafe at the Mumbai airport, a cafe run by differently-abled staffers.

The couple spent time with the staff and reportedly invited them to their wedding in Ahmedabad.

Earlier, the groom's father had informed the media that the couple's nuptials would be "simple" and without any celebrity attendance or performance. And, the family has lived up to the remark.
