Veteran Bangladesh all-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz has been at his all-round best in the ongoing second and final Test against Pakistan at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
After bagging a fifer in the first innings, he smoked a timely 78 to help his side recover from a top-order collapse.
He smoked 12 fours and a six during his 124-ball stay.

Mehidy and Litton Das put up a stellar fight thereafter. Both batters played with great intent and added 165 runs for the seventh wicket.
Mehidy, however, missed out on a ton as Shahzad sent him back.

This was Mehidy's second successive Test fifty as he made 77 in the series opener.
With his latest fifty, Mehidy has raced to 1,625 runs in 45 Tests at an average of 22.56.
Besides scoring eight fifties in this format, he has also slammed a solitary ton against West Indies.
Against Pakistan, he has accumulated 218 runs across four games at 43.60.

Shakib Al Hasan is the only other Bangladesh all-rounder with the double of 150 wickets and 1,500 runs in Test matches.

Mehidy and Litton became the first pair to add 150 runs for the seventh or lower wicket from a team total of under 50 runs (Tests).
This is also the second time in Test history that a team has had two 150-plus partnerships for the seventh wicket or lower in a series.
Mehidy and Mushfiqur Rahim added 196 in the first Test as well.
