Designated wicket-keepers with most centuries in T20 cricket
South Africa's Quinton de Kock slammed his maiden Caribbean Premier League century, powering Barbados Royals to victory against Guyana Amazon Warriors on September 16. De Kock's 68-ball 115 drove the Royals to 205/6 before they secured a 32-run win. The Proteas batter recorded his seventh T20 ton as a designated wicket-keeper, extending his record. Quinton de Kock: 7
As mentioned, de Kock hammered his seventh century as a designated wicket-keeper in the shortest format. In a T20 career spanning over a decade, the left-handed batter has represented a host of franchises across leagues. Notably, two of de Kock's T20 tons have come in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He has a ton each at the Mzansi Super League and the Champions League.
Kamran Akmal: 5
Pakistan's Kamran Akmal is the only other disgnated wicket-keeper with five-plus centuries in T20 cricket. The former Pakistan batter has five centuries in this regard. Like de Kock, Akmal has featured for quite a few teams acorss T20 leagues - the Pakistan Super League, CPL, and even the IPL (2008). Akmal has three tons at the PSL.
Other batters with multiple such tons
As many as four batters have at least three tons as a designated wicketkeeper-batter in T20 cricket. These are Adam Gilchrist, Josh Inglis, Ishan Kishan, and Glenn Phillips. A total of 14 other batters have multiple tons in this regard.
