    Kagiso Rabada completes 50 ODI wickets in Asia: Key stats

    Kagiso Rabada has completed 50 ODI wickets on Asian soil.

    The premium South African fast bowler attained the milestone with his 2nd wicket versus New Zealand in the ICC Champions Trophy 2nd semi-final clash on Wednesday at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.

    As per ESPNcricinfo, Rabada came into this contest with 48 scalps in Asia.

    Rabada recorded figures worth 2/70 from his 10 overs versus NZ.

    Playing his 29th match in Asia, Rabada now owns 50 scalps at 24-plus. He has two four-fers and a five-wicket haul.

    Notably, 26 of his wickets on Asian soil have come in India at 26.92 from 16 outings.

    He also owns 10 wickets in Sri Lanka at 29.80, 8 wickets in Bangladesh at 12.75 and has raced to six wickets in Pakistan.

    Playing his 106th ODI match, Rabada has raced to 168 ODI scalps. He averages 27.45. Versus New Zealand, he has 15 scalps at an average of 23.06, as per ESPNcricinfo.

    The Proteas bowlers lost the plot completely at the death as NZ went on to score 362/6.

    Earlier, it was Rabada who broke a 164-run stand between Rachin Ravindra and Kane Williamson by dismissing the former.

    He then dismissed Tom Latham in the 42nd over.

    Notably, Rabada's final over went for 19 runs (48th).
