The probable playing XI for Ind-Aus 5th ODI

    What's the story

After losing the 4th ODI in Bengaluru, India team is leading 3-1 in the already won five-match ODI series against Australia.

The 5th ODI dead rubber in Nagpur could be a chance for the hosts to finish on a high or for the Australian team to end the series with a respectable 2-3 result.

Let us look at how the teams could line up.

    Bowling line intact?

KL Rahul could get a chance

Despite the three bowling changes (Umesh Yadav, Shami, and Axar Patel) proving expensive in the 4th ODI, Kohli might stick to it and play them in the 5th ODI.

KL Rahul, being the only untried player in the squad, might get his due in Nagpur.

Probable XI - Rohit Sharma, Rahane, Rahul, Kohli, Jadhav, Dhoni, Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel, Umesh Yadav, Shami and Kuldeep.

Australia to keep the winning squad unchanged?

Australia could keep their 4th ODI winning line-up unchanged. This means Maxwell being kept out for yet another ODI, after his lacklustre performances in the first three games.

Australia's probable XI - David Warner, Aaron Finch, Travis Head, Steven Smith, Peter Handscomb, Marcus Stoinis, Matthew Wade, Pat Cummins, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Adam Zampa, and Kane Richardson.

    The wicket

Nagpur looks to override its bad reputation

Nagpur has a reputation for preparing poor pitch conditions in the recent past, with ICC giving it a 'poor rating' after the India vs South Africa Test in 2015 here.

With newly laid surface the Nagpur stadium curator is confident that the wicket would produce a good contest.

The last ODI played here, was between India and Australia in 2013, which the hosts won.
