    What's the story

    Xiaomi Mi 6X, also known as Mi A2, is the company's latest smartphone and will be launched on April 25 in China.

    The Chinese electronics manufacturer has posted a teaser which reveals the key specs and features of its upcoming smartphone.

    Notably, this handset may launch in India as Mi A2 and is expected to run stock Android.

    Design & Display

    A 5.99-inch full-HD display, rear dual-camera setup

    Xiaomi, through its teaser, has revealed a Blue colour variant of the Mi 6X.

    The teaser shows the back panel which holds an iPhone X-like dual-rear camera with an LED flash module and a center-mounted fingerprint sensor.

    The smartphone will sport a 5.99-inch full-HD (1080x2160) display.

    Moreover, the antenna bands have been placed at the top and bottom edges of the smartphone.

    Camera

    For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers

    As per the teaser, the smartphone will sport a primary 20-megapixel camera sensor.

    Notably, Xiaomi has not revealed any specifications of the secondary camera. However, reports and rumors suggest that the secondary camera will be a 12-megapixel Sony IMX486 sensor.

    On the front, the Mi 6X may sport a 20-megapixel Sony IMX376 sensor.

    Internals, Storage

    Under the hood

    Reports suggest that the Mi 6X will be powered by Qualcomm's Octa-core Snapdragon 660 SoC processor.

    Further, the smartphone is expected to come in three configurations - 4GB RAM/ 32GB storage, 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage, and 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage.

    The phone is also expected to pack a 2,910mAh battery and will run MIUI 9 based on Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box.
