    Top 5 smartphones that have become cheaper in India

    With more and more handsets arriving in India, some of the recently launched smartphones have become cheaper to stay competitive.

    Over the past few weeks, popular offerings like the innovative Galaxy A80, the flagship ASUS 6Z, the premium OPPO Reno 2Z, and some other mid-rangers have received attractive price-cuts.

    Here's a look at some of the best deals.

    Phone #1

    Samsung Galaxy A80: Now cheaper by Rs. 8,000

    The premium Galaxy A80 has received a price-cut of Rs. 8,000 and it is now retailing at Rs. 39,990.

    The smartphone offers an edge-to-edge 6.7-inch full-HD+ AMOLED screen and 48MP triple rear cameras. Notably, the rear camera rotates up and serves as a selfie snapper as well.

    Besides that, the phone packs Snapdragon 730 processor and a solid 3,700mAh battery with 25W fast-charging technology.

    Asus 6Z: Received a price-cut of Rs. 5,000

    ASUS's flagship handset, the 6Z, has received a price-cut of upto Rs. 5,000 and it is currently available at Rs. 27,999.

    The handset offers an all-glass body featuring an all-screen design with a 6.4-inch full-HD+ screen and a 48MP dual-rotating camera module- similar to Galaxy A80.

    Under the hood, it is fueled by flagship-grade Snapdragon 855 chipset, upto 8GB RAM, and a 5,000mAh battery.

    OPPO Reno 2Z: Cheaper by Rs. 4,000

    After getting a couple of price cuts, the OPPO Reno 2Z is now available at Rs. 25,990 (launch price: Rs. 29,990).

    The smartphone offers a 6.53-inch notch-less and bezel-less screen with full-HD+ resolution, 48MP quad rear cameras, and a 16MP motorized pop-up selfie snapper.

    Powering the phone is a Helio P90 chipset, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, and a 4,000mAh battery with 20W fast-charging support.

    Samsung Galaxy A50s: Became more affordable by Rs. 3,000

    The premium mid-ranger Galaxy A50s, which was launched at a starting price of Rs. 22,999, is now up for grabs starting Rs. 19,999.

    The handset offers a familiar waterdrop notched design with a 6.4-inch full-HD+ AMOLED screen, 48MP triple cameras, and a 32MP selfie snapper.

    Moreover, it is powered by Exynos 9611 chipset, paired with upto 6GB RAM, and a 4,000mAh battery.

    OPPO A9 2020: Has received a Rs. 1,500 price-cut

    Lastly, the 8GB RAM variant of the OPPO A9 2020, which was launched at Rs. 19,990, is now retailing at Rs. 18,490.

    The handset offers a waterdrop notched design with 6.5-inch HD+ display, 48MP quad rear cameras, and a physical fingerprint scanner for secure authentication.

    Furthermore, it is fueled by a Snapdragon 665 chipset, sports upto 8G RAM, and a powerful 5,000mAh battery.

    Other phones

    These premium models have received price cuts as well

    Apart from the aforementioned models, there are several other premium handsets that have become more affordable in India.

    For instance, ASUS's last year flagship, the 5Z, has also received multiple price cuts and it is currently available starting Rs. 15,999.

    Moreover, the mid-ranger Samsung Galaxy A30s has become cheaper by Rs. 1,000 and is now available at Rs. 15,999.
