    What's the story

After having sold over 6 lakh units in the first sale, Xiaomi's Redmi Note 6 Pro will go on sale for the second time today via Flipkart and Mi.com at 12pm.

The camera-centric phone will be available at its original launch price of Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB RAM variant and Rs. 15,999 for the 6GB RAM model.

Here's everything to know about it.

    Design & display

Here's a look at Redmi Note 6 Pro

Up front, the Redmi Note 6 Pro gets a notched display with a thick bottom chin to sport an 86% screen-to-body ratio.

On the back, the phone looks identical to its predecessor with an iPhone X-like camera layout and a fingerprint sensor.

Further, Redmi Note 6 Pro features a 6.26-inch full-HD+ (2280×1080p) LCD display with a 19:9 aspect ratio, and 2.5D Gorilla Glass protection.

    Cameras

Xiaomi's first smartphone to feature quad cameras

On the back, the Redmi Note 6 Pro gets a 12MP+5MP dual camera setup - much like the Redmi Note 5 Pro.

However, the main sensor has now been upgraded with larger 1.4-micron pixels, a wider f/1.9 aperture, and Dual-Pixel PDAF.

Up front, the notch houses a dual camera setup comprising a 20-MP (f/2.0) primary sensor with 1.8-micron pixels and a 2-MP depth sensor.

    Specs

Inside, the Redmi Note 6 Pro resembles its predecessor

The Redmi Note 6 Pro retains all 'under the hood' features of its predecessor.

Hence, the phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor, paired with up to 6GB of RAM (in India) and 64GB of inbuilt storage (expandable up to 256GB).

Further, the phone runs on Android Oreo-based MIUI 10 and packs a 4,000mAh battery with support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.

    Nitty-gritty

Connectivity options and sensors onboard the Redmi Note 6 Pro

In terms of connectivity options, the phone supports dual SIMs (hybrid tray), dual VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, GPS/A-GPS, GLONASS, micro USB with OTG support and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Its onboard sensors include an accelerometer, e-compass, proximity sensor, gyroscope, Infrared (for IR blaster), ambient light sensor, and hall effect sensor.

Further, the phone comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and AI-based Face Unlock.
