    What's the story

    Expanding its portfolio of smartphones, Realme is all set to launch the Realme XT in India on September 13.

    Interestingly, the Realme XT will be the first handset in the country to come with top-of-the-line 64MP main camera.

    The company has posted a tweet from its official handle, revealing the date and time of the launch event.

    Design

    Realme XT: At a glance

    Up front, the Realme XT will feature a waterdrop notched design while on the rear, the gradient finished panel will house vertically aligned four cameras and an LED flash.

    The smartphone will sport a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and an in-screen fingerprint sensor.

    For photography, the Realme XT will house a quad rear camera setup comprising a 64MP (f/1.8) main sensor, 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle sensor, 2MP (f/2.4) macro camera, and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor. Up front, the handset will sport a 16MP (f/2.0) selfie camera.

    The Realme XT will be powered by a Snapdragon 712 octa-core processor, paired with upto 8GB RAM and upto 128GB storage.

    Under the hood, it will run Android Pie-based ColorOS 6 and pack a 4,000mAh battery.

    Further, the handset will offer all standard sensors and latest connectivity options such as dual-SIMs (Nano), dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Type-C port, and headphone jack.

    Pricing

    And, what about pricing?

    In India, the Realme XT is expected to arrive at a price of around Rs. 20,000. However, official details will be revealed during the launch event on September 13.

    Lastly, it will be a direct rival to Xiaomi's Redmi Note 8 Pro which is set to arrive in the country soon.
