    At the ongoing MWC 2022, Samsung has announced a clutch of new laptops, including the Galaxy Book 2, Galaxy Book 2 360, Galaxy Book 2 Business, Galaxy Book 2 Pro, and the Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360.

    The devices come with up to Super AMOLED touchscreen options, the latest 12th-Generation Intel Core i7 and Core i5 processors, and 1080p webcams.

    Why does this story matter?

    Samsung's latest Galaxy Book laptops arrive as successors to the models that were announced last year. They retain the design of the previous-generation models but pack enough updates to attract customers.

    The 2022 Galaxy Book range has new Intel chipsets, brighter displays, an upgraded web camera, some new software features, and are offered in clamshell as well as convertible form-factor.

    Samsung Galaxy Book 2

    The SAmsung Galaxy Book 2 sports a 15.6-inch Full-HD OLED display, packs stereo speakers, and runs on Windows 11.

    It is powered by the latest Intel Core i3, i5, and i7 processors, paired with up to 16GB of RAM, Intel UHD or Iris Xe graphics, and up to 1TB of storage.

    The device houses a 61.1Wh battery with support for 65W fast-charging.

    Samsung Galaxy Book 2 360

    The Galaxy Book 2 360 has a 13.0-inch Full-HD OLED touch display, a micro-SD card reader, stereo speakers, and boots Windows 11.

    It comes with Intel Core i7 and Core i5 processors, up to 16GB of RAM, and up to 1TB of storage.

    The laptop offers all the latest connectivity options and packs a 68Wh battery with support for 65W fast-charging.

    Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Business

    The Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Business gets a 14.0-inch Full-HD anti-glare display, stereo speakers, a micro-SD card reader, and a Kensington lock.

    The laptop is powered by up to Intel Core i7 processor, combined with up to 64GB of RAM, up to NVIDIA GeForce MX570 A graphics, and up to 1TB storage.

    It packs a 51.5Wh battery with support for 65W fast-charging.

    Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro

    The new Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro is offered in 13.3-inch and 15.6 Full-HD AMOLED display options with 5G connectivity support on the latter.

    It is backed by the latest Intel Core i7 and i5 processors, coupled with up to 32GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage.

    The 13.3-inch model packs a 63Wh battery, while the 15.6-inch model houses a 68Wh battery.

    Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360

    The 2022 Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360 is also available in 13.3-inch and 15.6-inch Full-HD Super AMOLED touch display options with S Pen support.

    The laptop is powered by the latest Intel Core i7 and i5 processors, paired with up to 32GB RAM and up to 1TB storage.

    The 13.3-inch model packs a 63Wh battery, while the 15.6-inch model has a 68Wh battery.

    How much do the new Galaxy Book laptops cost?

    The Samsung Galaxy Book 2 360 costs $900 (roughly Rs. 67,600), while the Galaxy Book 2 Pro is priced at $1,050 (around Rs. 79,000).

    The Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360 carries a price-tag of $1,250 (approximately Rs. 94,000). The prices of the Galaxy Book 2 and Book 2 Business are yet to be announced.

    The laptops will go on sale from April 1.
