    What's the story

Motorola is working to launch its all-new One Action smartphone in India on August 23. The Android One-based phone, which comes as a slightly cheaper version of One Vision, has already gone official in some international markets.

Notably, both the One Action and One Vision share a bunch of specifications and features but still pack plenty of differences.

    Here's our head-to-head comparison.

    Design

Motorola One Action v/s One Vision: At a glance

On the front, both phones feature a punch-hole design that allows for an edge-to-edge screen and makes them appear as indistinguishable twins.

However, when you flip to the rear side, you can see a triple lens camera unit on the One Action and dual lens camera system on the One Vision.

Further, both handsets offer curved glass bodies and rear-mounted fingerprint readers as well.

    Information

Both phones share the same display

Both the One Action and One Vision sport a 6.3-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1080*2520 pixels. This resolution allows for a Cinemascope aspect ratio of 21:9 and a 432ppi pixel density.

    Rear camera

    For the shutterbugs

The One Action sports a triple camera system comprising a 12MP main lens, 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 5MP depth sensor. The wide-angle lens supports 117-degree FoV and allows you to record landscape videos while holding the phone vertically.

The One Vision houses a dual rear camera comprising a 48MP primary sensor and a 5MP sensor for advanced bokeh effects.

    Information

    For the selfie lovers

The Motorola One Vision sports a 25MP (f/2.0) selfie snapper packed in the display cut-out. In comparison, the One Action also gets a similar setup but with a 12MP (f/2.0) sensor.

    Internals

    Under the hood

Both the phones are powered by a Samsung-sourced Exynos 9609 processor, paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage (expandable upto 512GB).

Under the hood, they run stock Android Pie as part of Google's Android One program and pack 3,500mAh batteries.

However, the One Action supports only 10W fast charging whereas the One Vision offers 15W fast charging.

    Information

    Pricing: The ultimate differentiator

The Motorola One Vision costs Rs. 19,999 for its solo 4GB/128GB model. As for the One Action, it is available at EUR 259 (approximately Rs. 20,400) for its single 4GB/12GB variant. However, in India, the phone will be priced lower than One Vision.
