    What's the story

Days after some renders gave us our first look at the Motorola One Vision, the upcoming mid-ranger has now been Google.com/ar/discover/supported-devices">listed on Google's ARCore platform.

This not only confirms the name and presence of the phone but also hints at its impending launch.

To recall, the Android One-based Motorola One Vision will arrive as the global variant of China-bound Motorola P40.

    Here's our roundup.

    Design & display

Motorola One Vision: At a glance

According to renders, it will feature a punch hole display and sizeable bottom bezel like P40.

This design should allow for a taller aspect ratio of around 19:9 and increased screen area than last year's Moto P30.

On the back, a 3D curved panel will house a dual camera setup and a fingerprint scanner concealed in the Moto logo.

    Information

Motorola One Vision will come with a headphone jack

Like the P40, the Motorola One Vision will come with a headphone jack positioned on the top edge of the phone. At the bottom, it will house a USB Type-C port, a speaker grille, and a microphone.

    Cameras

Motorola One Vision to offer a 48MP rear camera

Motorola One Vision will come with a dual rear-camera setup comprising a 48MP main sensor.

Reportedly, the company will use a QCFA (Quad Color Filter Array) for improved noise reduction and enhanced per-pixel details which will come in handy when shooting in 12MP resolution (using pixel binning technology).

Moreover, the phone will also support "Video 3D HDR", "Long Exposure" and Google ARCore features.

    Internals

    Under the hood

The Motorola One Vision will be powered by an Exynos 9610 chipset, paired with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB/128GB of storage - similar to P40.

Under the hood, it will house a 3,500mAh battery and run Android Pie.

Moreover, the phone will be part of the Android One program that offers 2 years of OS updates and three years of security updates.
