    Lenovo-owned Motorola is expected to launch its latest Moto G and E series smartphones, soon.

    Some reports suggest that these new smartphones will be first unveiled in Southeast Asia, before being launched in the other markets.

    Notably, now these new phones have been spotted on Indonesian and Thai certification portals with the Moto G6 Play also appearing on Malaysian certification website SIRIM.

    Motorola's upcoming phones spotted on Southeast Asian certification portals

    As reported by Nashville Chatter, Motorola's latest phones have been identified on various Southeast Asian certification portals via their code names.

    The Moto G6 (XT1925-7), Moto G6 Plus (XT1926-5), and Moto G6 Play (XT1922-1) were spotted on Indonesia's TKDN portal and Thailand's NBTC.

    Interestingly, the Moto E5 (XT1924-3) has been spotted on TKDN and the Moto E5 Play (XT1944-6) was spotted on NBTC.

    G-Series

    What we know about Motorola's G series smartphones

    Motorola is expected to launch three smartphones but not much detail has surfaced regarding them.

    Reportedly, the Moto G6 Plus is expected to feature Snapdragon 630 SoC, 4GB RAM/ 6GB of RAM, a 5.93-inch full-HD+ display and 3,250mAh battery.

    It may sport a Snapdragon 430 SoC and is expected to come in two variants - 3GB RAM/ 32GB and 4GB RAM/ 64GB.

    E-Series

    What we know about Motorola's E series smartphones

    Certification listings suggest that Motorola will launch two smartphones in the E series - E5 and E5 Play.

    The Moto E5 will come with a 5.5-inch HD display and the Moto E5 Play will get a smaller 5.2-inch HD display.

    However, rumors suggest there might be another Moto E5 Plus which will sport a 5.8-inch HD+ display coupled with 3GB RAM and 64GB storage.
