    Here's how to watch Apple TV+ on Android smartphones

    Apple TV+ has gone live, bringing some big-budget original shows to a host of devices and platforms including iPhones, iPads, Macs, and some compatible TVs.

    The video streaming service costs just $4.99/month (Rs. 99/month in India) and up to six family members can share the same subscription.

    But do you know you can also enjoy Apple TV+ on non-Apple devices? Here's how.

    Firstly, here's a look at Apple TV+ subscription plans

    As mentioned before, in India, Apple TV+ costs Rs. 99/month for a family plan wherein up to six members can stream simultaneously.

    For students, the subscription is bundled free with Apple Music student plan, which costs Rs. 49/month.

    Apple is also giving a 1-year free subscription to anyone who bought a new iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, or Apple TV after September 10.

    How to watch Apple TV+ on Apple devices?

    If you have an iPod touch, iPhone, iPad, Apple or a Mac computer, you can watch Apple TV+ via the Apple TV app. In case you are using an iOS or iPadOS device, you can also download the dedicated Apple TV+ app for offline viewing.

    You can also stream Apple TV+ on your TV

    If you have a Roku or Amazon Fire TV streaming device, you can download the Apple TV app and enjoy Apple TV+ on your television. Notably, some newer televisions models from Samsung, LG, and Sony also come with the Apple TV app.

    And if your TV supports AirPlay 2, you can even cast Apple TV+ shows from your iPhone directly to the big screen.

    At present, there is no dedicated app for Android that will let you stream Apple TV+. However, you can enjoy the video service on your Android smartphone, tablet, or any other laptop via the web platform.

    Apple TV+ can be streamed on any device that supports browsers like Google Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. To get started, log in with your Apple ID at tv.apple.com.
