    What's the story

Expanding its Gen Z series of smart televisions, Germany-based Blaupunkt has launched two new models in India.

The new variants, offered in 43-inch and 49-inch display sizes, will join the 32-inch and 40-inch options that were recently introduced by the company.

The latest TV sets offer full-HD resolution and run on an Android-based platform.

    Here's our roundup.

    Features

Both TVs offer an A+ LED panel with full-HD resolution

Both the 43-inch and 49-inch models offer an A+ LED panel with a full-HD resolution, 178-degree viewing angle, 60Hz refresh rate, and 16:9 aspect ratio.

As for audio, they pack two speakers to offer 30W sound output, and support file formats like MP3, WMA, and AAC.

These Blaupunkt TVs also offer some convenience features such as auto power offer, sleep timer, and clock.

    Information

What are the connectivity options on these TVs?

As for connectivity, both the models support built-in Wi-Fi, an Ethernet (RJ45) port, two HDMI ports, two USB ports, a VGA connector, and a 3.5mm audio jack that will let you connect external speakers to the TV.

    Internals

    Under the hood

The Blaupunkt Gen Z 43-inch and 49-inch variants are powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, paired with 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of built-in storage for keeping movies, videos, and apps.

These TVs run on an Android-based operating system and come with Screen Mirroring as well as popular streaming apps like Hotstar, YouTube, Netflix, and others.
