Encounter in Kashmir's Pulwama district kills two terrorists

Two terrorists were killed in an encounter with security forces today in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district, police said.

Security forces launched a cordon and search operation in Pulwama following information about the presence of terrorists in the area, a police official said.

During the search operation, the terrorists opened fire after which the security forces retaliated.

Police recovered SLR and pistol from the terrorists

The official said that following the gun battle, two terrorists were killed. The terrorists have been identified as Shahid Ahmad Baba and Aniyat Ahmad Ziger. Both are affiliated to Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM). The police also recovered one SLR and one pistol from them.
