    7 Delhi University colleges that offer technical courses

    When it comes to technical courses, BE and BTech are the popular ones. However, these engineering courses aren't the only way to acquire technical skills.

    There are various other interesting courses that provide great career opportunities. Colleges under the University of Delhi also offer technical courses in multiple disciplines.

    Here are 7 colleges under DU for technical courses.

    CIC

    About Delhi University's Cluster Innovation Centre (CIC)

    DU's Cluster Innovation Centre at the North Campus was established in 2011. It offers a four-year BTech in Information Technology and Mathematical Innovations (ITMI).

    Applicants must have secured 60% minimum in four subjects, including Mathematics, in Class-12.

    It conducts an all-India entrance exam to admit students; the program deals in IT, Mathematics, Computer Science apart from Innovation and Technology Management; there are 46 seats.

    Hansraj College

    Hansraj College, ranked among the best DU colleges

    Hansraj College, established in 1948, is one of the top-ranking colleges under Delhi University.

    Though it doesn't offer BE/BTech courses, it has equivalent BSc (Hons.) in Electronics and Computer Science.

    For both the courses, admissions are merit-based; applicants must have a minimum aggregate of 50% in Class-12. Candidates must have at least 55% in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (CS course requires 60% in Mathematics).

    St. Stephen's College

    St. Stephen's College, one of oldest and most prestigious colleges

    St. Stephen's College, founded in 1881, is one of the oldest colleges under DU.

    It offers a three-year BSc in Computer Science. Students who have passed 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics along with Chemistry, or Computer Science, or informatics practices are eligible.

    Its admission procedure is different from other DU colleges. Candidates must take an aptitude test conducted by the college followed by an interview.

    SSCBS

    Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies under Delhi University

    Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies (SSCBS) is a constituent college of the Delhi University established in 1987. It is one of the premier institutions of the university.

    It offers four-year BTech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE). Applicants must have passed 10+2 from any recognized board.

    Admission to the course is based on the candidate's score in Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main.

    Miranda House

    Miranda House College is among India's top science colleges

    Miranda House College for women was established in 1948. It is one of the best-rated colleges in India.

    It offers three-year BSc Program in Computer Science. Admission is done on the basis of the candidate's score in Class-12.

    Applicants must have secured an aggregate of 55% in four subjects, including Mathematics. Further, they should have scored 60% or more in Mathematics.

    Sri Venkateswara

    Sri Venkateswara College, is one of the leading DU colleges

    Sri Venkateswara College is another popular DU college for undergraduate science courses. The college, founded in 1961, is located in South Campus.

    It offers three-year BSc (Honors) in Electronics. Applicants must have passed Class-12 with at least 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and a minimum of 50% score in any one language.

    Admission is based on the cut-offs released by the college.

    Gargi College

    Gargi College, another DU college part of South Campus

    Gargi College for women, affiliated to the Delhi University, was established in 1967. It is located in the South Campus.

    It offers a three-year Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Computer Applications at the undergraduate level. Admission to this program is cut-off based.

    Students must have passed Class 12 (or equivalent from any recognized board) with a minimum aggregate score of 45%.
