Kejriwal ends sit-in-protest at L-G office; IAS-officers returning to work

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has finally ended his nine-day sit-in protest at Lieutenant-Governor Anil Baijal's office as the IAS officers on strike are now returning to work, according to Deputy CM Manish Sisodia.
The announcement by Sisodia came after L-G Baijal responded to the Delhi CM's protest and urged him to meet the IAS officers at the Delhi Secretariat.

Delhi Ministers refused to leave until IAS officers ended strike
Delhi CM Kejriwal and his cabinet colleagues, Manish Sisodia, Satyendar Jain, and Gopal Rai, had launched the sit-in protest on 11 June at Baijal's office-cum-residence, alleging that IAS officers had gone on a strike to scuttle the AAP-led Government's work.
They refused to call off the protest until the L-G directed the bureaucrats to end their strike and cooperate with the AAP Government.

Assure IAS officers that I'll ensure their safety, security Kejriwal
On 18 June, the IAS officers indicated that they could hold formal discussions with the Delhi Government after CM Kejriwal assured their safety and dignity.
"I wish to assure them (IAS officers) that I will ensure their safety and security with all my powers and resources available at my command. I have given similar assurances earlier also. I reiterate it," Kejriwal said earlier.
