It's no secret that Varun Dhawan is a huge fan of Dwayne Rock Johnson. He has admitted his love for the Hollywood star on several occasions.

However, an interesting turn of events has pitted the fanboy against his idol.

Varun's romantic saga 'October' will now clash with Johnson's 'Rampage' at the box office.

Both the films will be hitting the screens on April 13.

'October' is expected to be a game-changer for Varun

'October' is touted to be an unconventional but poignant tale of love.

Banita Sandhu is making her debut opposite Varun in the film.

The Shoojit Sircar directorial is written by Juhi Chaturvedi. The duo had previously collaborated on 'Vicky Donor' and 'Piku'.

Juhi had also penned the dialogues of Shoojit's 'Madras Cafe' and his unreleased film 'Shoebite'.
