    What's the story

The much-anticipated trailer of the upcoming film Jaat was released on Monday, March 24, 2025.

Directed by Gopichand Malineni and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film sees Sunny Deol in a powerful massy role.

He is accompanied by Randeep Hooda, Viineet Kumar Siingh, Regina Cassandra, Saiyami Kher, and Swarupa Ghosh.

Jaat will hit theaters on April 10.

    Trailer details

'Jaat' trailer showcases rural world filled with terror

The trailer of Jaat takes audiences to a rural world of terror, where bodies begin to pile up in the setting of rural India.

The film revolves around Ranatunga's (Hooda) dangerous Lanka, where gods fear to step.

Deol's Jaat arrives on the scene bashing heads and thrashing baddies, staying true to his action-hero image.

He is seen screaming "Main Jaat Hoon" and "Main tujhe aur tere Lanka ko yahin phoonk dunga."

    Film expectations

'Jaat' trailer promises high-octane action and machismo

The Jaat trailer promises a film replete with "maarpeeth" (fighting), machismo, and raw action. This is bound to strike a chord with the audience in tier 2 and 3 cities.

The chemistry between Deol and Hooda is another highlight of the trailer.

"Ye dhai kilo ke haath ki taaqat pura North dekh chuka hai, ab South dekhega," Deol says in a homage of sorts to his own iconic line.

    Viewer response

'Jaat' trailer garners millions of views

As of Monday morning, the Jaat trailer had already crossed 664K views on YouTube.

The story and screenplay of the film have been written by Malineni, with music by Thaman S.

Navin Nooli edited the film, while Avinash Kolla did the production design.

The action sequences in Jaat have been designed by Anl Arasu, Ram Laxman, and Venkat.
