The overall advanced booking for the opening day (including previews) stands at 1.7 lakh tickets, putting Stree 2 in competition with mega-budget action films like Tiger 3 and Brahmastra among others.
The final advance for Stree 2 is expected to exceed 3.50 lakh tickets, placing it in the top 10 advances of all time.
The opening day of Stree 2 is expected to cross the ₹35cr mark, with an additional ₹4-5cr expected from the paid previews.

At the box office, Stree 2 will clash with other big-ticket Hindi movies: Akshay Kumar's Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham's Vedaa.
Tamil actor Vikram's Thangalaan, directed by Pa Ranjith, and Puri Jagannadh's Double iSmart, featuring Telugu star Ram Pothineni with Sanjay Dutt, are also releasing on Independence Day.

Stree 2 has been certified U/A by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) and has an approved runtime of two hours and 29 minutes.
The film will be released across India by two distributors: Pen Marudhar and PVR Pictures. Marudhar will handle the distribution in North and Central India, while PVR Pictures will manage the rest.
Early trends suggest that Stree 2 is set for a wide release on over 3,000 screens in India.
