    Details

The case dates back to 2010

It was in 2010 that Yadav and his wife had taken a loan from a Delhi-based businessman MG Agarwal. They needed the money for Yadav's maiden directorial venture called 'Ata Pata Laapata'.

However, when they failed to repay a loan amount of Rs. 5 crore, Agarwal filed a complaint against them.

    Background

Yadav was remanded to judicial custody in 2013

Yadav was remanded to 10 days judicial custody in 2013 for concealing facts about the case.

The court had also ordered attachments of his assets, his bank account and a company he owned.

However, the actor in 2015 claimed that he had repaid Rs. 1.58 crore and the remaining Rs. 3.42 crore would be paid back in the next 30 days.
