Radhika Apte-Vikrant Massey's psychological drama 'Forensic' to release on ZEE5
What's the story
Forensic finally gets a release medium.
The upcoming psychological thriller, directed by Vishal Furia and starring Radhika Apte (Andhadhun) and Vikrant Massey (Love Hostel), will premiere "soon" on ZEE5.
Forensic is the Hindi remake of a Malayalam film by the same name that was written and directed by Akhil Paul and Anas Khan. The film marked their directorial debut.
It released in February 2020.
Context
Why does this story matter?
Forensic will have Apte in the role of a female police officer named Megha Sharma, and Massey will be forensic expert Johnny Khanna.
"Together, Johnny and Megha will be chasing the vicious criminal who turns their lives upside down," a note from ZEE5 read.
The cast also includes Prachi Desai, Vindu Dara Singh, and Rohit Roy.
Must say, this is an interesting combination.

Furia dips his toes in murky waters of crime, again
On his part, Furia said, "With accomplished actors Vikrant and Radhika at the top of their game and with amazing producers Mansi Bagla, Varun Bagla and Deepak Mukut, I have managed to give my best to ensure a thrilling ride throughout."
Furia has previously dabbled in the crime/thriller genre and is known for directing the horror film Chhorii and his series Criminal Justice.

Forensic is a Mini Films and Soham Rockstar Entertainment's production.
Apart from this, Apte will be seen in Apple TV+ series Shantaram, Bollywood film Vikram Vedha, and Netflix's Monica, O My Darling.
