    What's the story

The much-anticipated sequel to Allu Arjun's blockbuster film Pushpa: The Rise, titled Pushpa 2: The Rule, is set to release on December 6, 2024.

This action-packed drama, directed by Sukumar, has already made headlines by securing a massive deal with Netflix for its post-theatrical streaming rights.

The deal is reportedly worth a whopping ₹270 crore, reported Aakashavaani.

Fans are eagerly awaiting the return of Arjun's iconic character, the sandalwood smuggler Pushpa Raj.

    Record deal

'Pushpa 2' becomes one of the highest-valued Indian films

According to Aakashavaani, this record deal includes the post-theatrical streaming rights across all languages.

The staggering amount makes Pushpa 2 one of the highest-valued Indian films in terms of digital rights.

Meanwhile, you can revisit the first part, released in 2021, on Amazon Prime Video.

    Release speculation

Rumors of fallout between Arjun and Sukumar dismissed

Earlier, there were rumors suggesting a possible delay in the film's release due to an alleged fallout between Arjun and director Sukumar.

However, these speculations were quickly dismissed when the duo was spotted together at a recent preview event.

Pushpa 2: The Rule also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Dhananjaya, Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, Rao Ramesh, Ajay, Sunil, and Anasuya Bharadwaj in key roles.
