    'Khakee: The Bengal Chapter,' 'Anora': This week's top OTT releases

    What's the story

    The week of March 17-23 is packed with some binge-worthy new content on different streaming platforms. From the Oscar-winning film Anora to the gripping crime thriller Khakee: The Bengal Chapter, there's something for everyone.

    Whether you're in the mood to catch up on a heartwarming drama or a light-hearted romantic comedy, these platforms have got you sorted.

    Here's looking at the latest releases on Netflix, JioHotstar, Apple TV+, and Amazon MX Player.

    JioCinema

    'Anora' and 'Good American Family' on JioHotstar

    Oscar-winning movie Anora is now streaming on JioHotstar. The film follows a young sex worker from Brooklyn (Mikey Madison), who impulsively marries the son of a Russian oligarch. Things get complicated when his parents try to annul their son's wedding.

    Another new release on the platform is Good American Family, a limited eight-episode series about a Midwestern couple who adopts a girl with dwarfism, raising her along with their three biological children.

    'Bet Your Life,' 'Den of Thieves 2: Pantera' on Netflix

    Netflix has a slew of new content lined up for release this week.

    Bet Your Life, a comedy-drama about a sports-betting writer hired by the ghost of a business tycoon to solve his murder case, will premiere on Thursday.

    The streaming giant will also release Den of Thieves 2: Pantera, a sequel to 2018's Den of Thieves, continuing the story of Nicholas 'Big Nick' O'Brien, played by Gerard Butler.

    'The Residence' and 'Khakee: The Bengal Chapter' on Netflix

    Netflix will also premiere The Residence, a mystery drama inspired by Kate Andersen Brower's The Residence: Inside the Private World of the White House.

    The film follows an eccentric detective, played by Uzo Aduba, investigating a crime scene at a White House state dinner.

    The platform will release Khakee: The Bengal Chapter, a crime thriller on an IPS officer's quest to end crime in a region ruled by powerful criminals and corrupt politicians, on Thursday as well.

    'Little Siberia' and 'Revelations' on Netflix

    Netflix's first Finnish feature film, Little Siberia, also releases this week (Friday). The film follows the story of a pastor whose faith is shaken after a meteorite lands in his small town.

    Another new release is Revelations, a Korean thriller about a detective haunted by visions of her dead sister who teams up with a pastor to solve a missing persons case.

    'Loot Kaand' and 'Kanneda' on Amazon MX Player and JioCinema

    Loot Kaand, a heist thriller led by Tanya Maniktala and Sahil Mehta, will premiere on MX Player. The drama revolves around two siblings attempting a bank heist which lands them in a tangled web of dangerous criminals.

    Another release is Kanneda, a '90s set drama about a Punjabi immigrant in Canada who battles racism through his songs but gets entangled with sinister gangs, releasing on JioHotstar on Friday.

    Big-screen

    'Be@rbrick' on Apple TV+ and theatrical releases

    Apple TV+ will drop Be@rbrick, a movie about a singer and her band members who defy the rules to chase their dreams.

    Tumko Meri Kasam will release in theaters. The Vikram Bhatt directorial traces the rise of Dr. Ajay Murdia, who gets caught up in a murder case at the peak of his career.

    The other theatrical release is Snow White, a live-action musical reimagining of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937). It stars Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot.
