    What's the story

The battle for the ownership of 'Parmanu - The Story Of Pokhran' has finally come to an end as John Abraham's JA Entertainment and Prernaa Arora's KriArj Entertainment have reportedly reached an agreement.

Over the last few weeks, both the production houses leveled multiple allegations against each other and it appeared that the film won't see the light of day anytime soon.

    Details

JA and KriArj sort things out

As per a media report, "There was no dispute over the Rs. 5 crore that KriArj was to pay John and as per the contract terms, it will be cleared upon delivery of the product."

"Now that things have been sorted on paper legally, they will be implemented as soon as possible, keeping the release date in mind," it added.

    Background

What went wrong between John and Prernaa

On March 31, JA Entertainment said in a statement that it had terminated the 'Parmanu' contract with KriArj owing to non-payment of dues and multiple postponements of film's release.

KriArj then went on to dub John's notice as 'false and illegal'.

What followed then was a series of allegations and counter allegations by both the banners.

    Release

It's now slated to hit the screens on May 25

Also starring Diana Penty, 'Parmanu' was initially scheduled to release on December 8 last year but was then pushed to February 23.

The film saw yet another change in its release date as it was moved to March 2 and then again to April 6.

'Parmanu', based on India's nuclear tests in Pokhran, is now slated to release on May 25.
