Janhvi Kapoor is on a roll!
The 23-year-old actor is all set to star in an upcoming Hindi remake of the 2018 hit Tamil film Kolamavu Kokila.
She will reportedly fly to Punjab to shoot for the movie on January 7.
Siddharth Sengupta, who has earlier worked as an assistant director on Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! and Agneepath, will helm the project.

The shooting schedule of the movie will begin from January 9, 2021, and will be completed in a span of 45 days.
"The decision to shoot in Punjab and the timeline was decided only a few days back. Janhvi has been getting mainly central roles after Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl and she is enjoying every bit of her career," a source told ETimes.

Janhvi will be seen playing an intense role in the upcoming black-comedy crime movie, which has reportedly been produced by Aanand L Rai.
She will essay the role of a young girl who gets trapped in a drug racket while trying to earn quick money.
The movie might be released toward the end of 2021.

'Kolamavu Kokila' was a commercial hit, bagged awards
Released in 2018, Kolamavu Kokila, starring Nayanthara in the lead role, supported by Yogi Babu, Saranya Ponvannan, RS Shivaji and others, was a commercial hit.
It revolves around the story of a girl who gets herself and her family involved in a drug-smuggling business and the series of twists and turns that follow.
The movie bagged a number of awards as well.

Janhvi was last seen in the biopic Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, which premiered on Netflix in August.
The actor is now all set to share the screen with Rajkummar Rao in Roohi Afzana.
She is also preparing for her role in Dharma Productions' film Dostana 2, alongside Kartik Aaryan and Laksh Lalwani in pivotal roles.
