Imtiaz is working on a not-so-typical film with Shahid
What's the story
Travel has always been an inevitable part of all Imtiaz Ali films. Most of his creations revolve around his characters' love to embark on life-altering journey.
However, in a welcome change, Imtiaz has decided to make a film that will be set in "one place".
The not-so-typical film will reunite him with his 'Jab We Met' actor Shahid Kapoor.

While talking to a news agency, Imtiaz said that although he has discussed the project with Shahid, nothing is official yet.
About the film, he said, "It's a human story. It's in one place. If I can tell you one thing, it would be that it is not a travel-oriented film, which is a good thing for me, it will be different for me."

Meanwhile, Shahid is currently shooting for his next
Post the massive success of 'Padmaavat', Shahid has begun shooting for Shree Narayan Singh's 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu'. The film also features Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam.
As far as Imtiaz is concerned, he is currently working on the script of his next film.
His last directorial venture was Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer 'Jab Harry Met Sejal'.
