    What's the story

    Bollywood actor Farhan Akhtar has announced his latest project, 120 Bahadur, where he will be portraying the role of an Army officer, Major Shaitan Singh PVC.

    The film is a production of Excel Entertainment and Trigger Happy Studios.

    It narrates the story of Major Shaitan Singh and the soldiers of Charlie Company, 13 Kumaon Regiment during the 1962 Indo-China war.

    Akhtar shared motion posters on social media

    Akhtar took to social media to share a series of motion and still posters for 120 Bahadur.

    He wrote, "Famously known as the Battle of Rezang La, fought on the 18th of November 1962 during the Indo-China war, it is a story of remarkable courage, heroism and selflessness shown by our men in uniform against all odds."

    The movie marks Akhtar's return to acting in a full-fledged role after 2021's Toofaan.

    '120 Bahadur' to depict the Battle of Rezang La

    The film, directed by Razneesh "Razy" Ghai, is set against the backdrop of the 1962 Indo-China war and is inspired by the Battle of Rezang La.

    This battle saw Indian soldiers display exceptional bravery and sacrifice.

    The first shoot schedule for 120 Bahadur began on Wednesday in Ladakh.

    The film aims to provide an immersive cinematic experience with its compelling storyline and stunning visuals.
