Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi is reportedly in discussions with filmmaker Neeraj Pandey for a potential collaboration on a Netflix web series.
Sources close to the development revealed to Pinkvilla that Pandey, known for his work on the Special Ops franchise, is developing this special web series and has initiated talks with Hashmi to lead the show.
The subject of the series reportedly requires an actor of Hashmi's caliber and Netflix is also optimistic about these discussions.

The discussions between Hashmi and Pandey are reportedly in advanced stages and are expected to materialize within a fortnight.
A source close to the development stated, "It's Hindi Film Industry and nothing is official until it's actually on paper, but the conversations are moving in the right direction."
"Emraan is also excited to join hands with the maker of films like A Wednesday, Special 26, Baby, and MS Dhoni: The Untold Story."

Pandey's current projects and future plans
In addition to his discussions with Hashmi, Pandey is currently working on the post-production of Special Ops 2.0, set to premiere next year on Disney+ Hotstar.
He is also preparing for the release of his direct-to-digital film Sikandar Ka Muqqadar on Netflix.
However, there are no updates yet regarding his next theatrical project.
