Confirmed: Disha Vakani to be replaced on 'TMKOC' next month

Ever since Disha Vakani aka Dayaben exited Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, fans have been eagerly waiting for her return.
However, much to everyone's disappointment, it is reported that the actress is likely to be replaced next month.
Reportedly, the makers are miffed with Disha's extended silence on her return and have given her an ultimatum to take a final decision.

Show producer gives Disha a final 30-day ultimatum
According to a Spotboye report, producer Asit Modi isn't pleased with Disha's extended break from TMKOC.
As a result, he decided to give her a final ultimatum of 30-days, post which the makers will permanently replace her.
"Modi says he will just give a concession period of a month, starting today. There has been absolutely no contact between the two parties," the report stated.

Producers irked by Disha's husband's interference, refuse to fulfill demands
Furthermore, the makers are also irked with Disha's husband Mayur Padia's interference in her professional life.
"TMKOC team has no problems if Disha wants to look after her baby but some of her demands that would apply if she was to return, were just not easy to accept when her husband has the last word with us," a source was quoted as saying.

Producers do not find Mayur's conditions acceptable
Media reports suggested that Mayur is responsible for creating differences between the actress and the production house.
Reportedly, he has been interacting with the production house on Disha's behalf. He also claimed producer Modi is yet to pay some amount to her.
Besides, Mayur wants Disha to work for 15 days in a month and that too only for fours hours per day.
Maternity Break

To recall, the entire controversy initiated after Disha took a maternity break from the show in 2017.
It was reported that she would return post the birth of her baby.
However, she extended her break to focus on her daughter.
"The shooting conditions are tough and since Disha's baby is still very young she needs her," Modi had stated.

Notably, Disha's absence from TMKOC grabbed headlines again after the actress recently shared a throwback video from the show on Instagram.
The video featured Disha as Dayaben and it certainly proved that she was missing the show.

Meanwhile, the show producers called Disha's action as a mere publicity stunt.
However, they did emphasize that they are willing to have her back on the show.
"Seems, Disha wanted to hanker for a bit of publicity. So, she shared a throwback video. We'll still welcome her if she returns without unacceptable demands. Else we are going ahead with another actress," the source added.
