SAB TV's popular comedy show 'Taarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashmah' has been entertaining the audience for a decade now.
In fact, Jetha Lal (Dilip Joshi) and Dayaben's (Disha Vakani) comic timings have been the show's USP.
While Disha's maternity break from 'TMKOC' broke a million hearts, there have been speculations about her comeback.
But looks like our Dayaben might not return anytime soon.
Disha's return
Disha's husband isn't willing to let her work
Reportedly, Disha had delayed her comeback as she wanted to focus on her daughter.
And while it was reported that Disha is keen to return on the show, his husband is, apparently, unwilling to let her work.
As per a report published in Bollywood Life, "It is because he thinks that their baby is very young and the little tot needs more attention".
Disha's fees
Disha also hiked her fees for return
Besides, there are reports that claim that Disha has hiked her fees for her return to 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah'.
According to the reports, the lady has demanded a whopping amount of Rs. 1.5 lakh per episode.
In fact, she also had a condition for her return saying that she would work only for 15 days between 11 am to 6 pm.
Dayaben in TMKOC
Will this be the end of Disha's Dayaben in TMKOC?
Well, we wonder if the makers would agree to Disha's demands or these are mere rumors.
Separately, there have been reports about Disha quitting 'TMKOC'.
To this, producer Asit Kumar Modi stated, "The shooting conditions are tough and since Disha's baby is still very young she needs her. We haven't discussed her return yet and there is no official confirmation on Disha quitting TMKOC."
