Dhanush's next film announced—his first after the TFPC ban lifted!
Following the recent revocation of his red card by the Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC), actor Dhanush is set to star in a new film. The project, announced on Tuesday, will be produced by Dawn Pictures, a new production house. This announcement comes after Dhanush resolved his issues with the TFPC. The actor's last appearance was in Raayan alongside Sundeep Kishan and Kalidas Jayaram.
Dawn Pictures announced a collaboration with Dhanush
Dawn Pictures took to their official X (formerly Twitter) account to share the news of their collaboration with Dhanush. The post read, "NEW BEGINNINGS! Dawn Pictures launches with a bang! 'We proudly announce our debut project 'D52' with Dhanush'
"We proudly announce our debut project 'D52' (tentatively titled) with Nadipin Asuran Dhanush sir. We sincerely thank Dhanush sir for this wonderful opportunity to collaborate with him on this exciting journey," said Aakash Baskaran, producer at Dawn Pictures. Dhanush's upcoming projects and recent controversy
Dhanush is currently directing a romantic comedy titled Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam (Why is the moon angry with me?). A source confirmed to HT that Dhanush will direct Arjun Vijay's next film. In July, the TFPC temporarily banned Dhanush for taking advances and not making films with producers. The issue was resolved after Dhanush agreed to repay the amount he took from Five Star Creations and committed to doing a film with Thenandal Films.
