    What's the story

Actors Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor were once one of the most talked about couples in Bollywood.

Their crackling chemistry off and on-screen often impressed audiences, and this remained even after their breakup.

Now, the former couple is set to collaborate again, after four years, only this time it will not be for a film, but an advertisement, shooting of which starts today.

    Shooting

Ranbir-Deepika's 'tamasha' always sets screen on fire

Ranbir and Deepika, who were last seen together in Imitiaz Ali's Tamasha, will be reuniting for a brand shoot.

A report published in Pinkvilla says, "This time, the two will be coming together for a brand's shoot and according to the recent reports, they will be starting the shoot today".

This certainly would be a treat for the fans of both Ranbir and Deepika.

    Movies

Separately, Ranbir, Deepika to start shooting for Luv Ranjan's film

There are also reports floating around suggesting that the ex-flames may come together for director Luv Ranjan's upcoming light-hearted directorial.

The movie will also feature Ajay Devgn in a key role.

The reports further suggested that the movie is expected to hit the floors this year.

Notably, this will be Ranbir-Deepika's fourth movie together after Bachna Ae Haseeno, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Tamasha.

    The affair

A timeline: Ranbir, Deepika fell in love in 2008

Ranbir and Deepika fell in love with each other while filming Bachna Ae Haseeno in 2008.

They never admitted to it publicly, but Deepika getting Ranbir's initials tattooed on her nape gave strong indications of a relationship.

However, breaking hearts, they split a year later, the reason of which got disclosed much later.

In one of his interviews, Ranbir admitted to cheating on Deepika.

    Quote

Yes, I've cheated, out of immaturity, Ranbir had said earlier

"Yes, I've cheated, out of immaturity, out of taking advantage of certain temptations, out of callousness. You realize it now, when you grow up and you value it more. Why be in a relationship, why be committed when you cannot be committed," Ranbir had said.

    Missing

Ranbir didn't attend DeepVeer's wedding reception. Actress wasn't surprised

However, now both of them have moved on, happily.

Deepika married her longtime beau actor Ranveer Singh last November.

It was a month-long celebration for the couple, which was attended by the entire industry, except Ranbir, which obviously raised eyebrows.

But Deepika wasn't surprised as 'that's how he is'.

She added that they communicate everything without saying, and that's the beauty of their relationship.

    Relationship

Meanwhile, Ranbir finds love in fellow actor Alia Bhatt

On the other hand, Ranbir found love in Alia Bhatt.

The couple fell for each other on the sets of Ayan Mukerji's upcoming directorial Brahmastra.

The duo is going strong with their relationship, and is also planning to take the plunge soon.

Reportedly, they have also received a green signal from their respective families, and will be exchanging the rings next year.
