    What's the story

Daniel Radcliffe will forever be known as the boy who lived, for his role in the Harry Potter franchise, that has become an iconic part of popular culture.

Across eight films, which minted more than $2.3 billion or Rs. 16,239 crore over a decade, the franchise has left an indelible legacy.

However, Radcliffe believes the franchise will eventually be revived over time.

    Here's why.

    Other versions

Radcliffe is sure of other versions of Harry Potter

In an interview with IGN, Radcliffe discussed how there would definitely be other versions of Harry Potter, based on the globally popular fantasy series by JK Rowling.

He said, "I'm sure there will be some other version of it; I know I'm not the last Harry Potter I'm gonna see in my lifetime - we've already got a few more".

    Reimagining

'There's a sacredness around them currently, but that'll go'

The last Harry Potter movie dropped in 2011 and is still fresh in the audience's minds.

Radcliffe said, "It will be interesting to see how long those films stay... it feels like there's a sacredness around them at the moment, but that'll go... It'll be interesting if they reboot them and just do the films again or do a series; I'm fascinated to watch".

    Do you know?

Rumors of Harry Potter film set in future do exist

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is a two-part stage play that is set almost two decades after the incidents of Death Hallows. There have been rumors about making it into a movie, which cannot cast Radcliffe as Potter, due to the character's age.

    'Fantastic Beasts'

Wizarding world is thriving even without Harry Potter reboot

While there are no concrete talks of a reboot despite Radcliffe's beliefs, the wizarding world is thriving in films.

The spin-off series, Fantastic Beasts which stars Johnny Depp as dark wizard Grindelwald and Jude Law and Eddie Redmayne as Dumbledore and Newt Scamander, is already working on a third film, which is set to release in 2020.

Two more sequels are scheduled to follow.
