Sonali Bendre is determined to defeat cancer, her new-post proves

Days after Sonali Bendre announced she was suffering from cancer, the actress has shared another post on social media to thank those who sent her good wishes.

In Bendre's new picture her hair is short, but the smile that can melt a thousand hearts still intact.

This only proves she is fighting cancer head on and is determined to not let it win.

Bendre posts video of her hair being cut

In the Instagram post, Bendre shared a video of her hair being cut. Despite the hurdles life has thrown at her, she kept smiling as the stylist cut her long hair.

Further, she wrote she got the strength to go on after reading stories of those who survived cancer, or those who told her how their loved ones came out victorious.

"Each day comes with its own challenges and victories and so for now, I'm taking this #OneDayAtATime. The only thing I'm trying to be consistent about is maintaining a positive outlook," Sonali Bendre wrote and added 'switching on the sunshine' was her way.

A few days back, Bendre's cancer news shook the nation

A few days back, announcing about her health, Bendre wrote sometimes life threw a curveball when you least expected it.

She revealed her high-grade cancer had metastised and that she is undergoing treatment in New York. "I'm taking this battle head-on," Bendre had said.

Wishes flew for Bendre and everyone prayed for her speedy recovery. We hope her positivity defeats the demon that cancer is.
